Showcasing latest lab equipment
KUALA LUMPUR: LabAsia has announced that the 4th edition of Malaysia International Scientific Instrument and Laboratory Equipment exhibition and conference (LabAsia 2013) will be held at Putra World Trade Centre (PWTC) from Tuesday to Thursday.
Dedicated to professionals in the scientific and laboratory industry such as professional chemists, biochemists, microbiologists, analysts, research and development researchers, lab managers, and quality control and assurance managers, LabAsia 2013 promises to be a strategic platform showcasing the latest products and advanced equipment with new techniques. It will present almost 150 exhibiting companies from 23 countries, representing over 500 brands and principals.
Visitors will get learn about the latest scientific equipment and analytical services. More international principals are located at specific pavilions such as the China, India, Singapore and German pavilions. The German pavilion is supported by Spectaris -- German Hightech Industry Association and the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
More than 8,000 visitors from Malaysia and Southeast Asia are expected.
LabAsia 2013, which is hosting various conferences and 39 technical seminar programmes, is a good platform for industry experts to network and share experiences with members of the industry.
The event provides a connective platform for visitors to meet international laboratory equipment manufacturers to extend their business networks and explore a wider range of products, technology and services.
Held concurrently are ChemAsia 2013, Malaysia International Chemicals Exhibition, International Conference on Water and Waste Water Management (ICWWM 2013) and 6th Biennial Regional Symposium on Total Laboratory Management Quality, Safety, Environment and Laboratory Informatics (QSEL 2013).
Organised by Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, ICWWM and QSEL will equip visitors with current trends in the region on laboratory management and water usage related issue, solutions and management.
The event has the support of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (Mosti), Malaysian External Trade Development Corporation (Matrade), related associations and publications.Mosti Minister Datuk Dr Ewon Ebin and IKM president Datuk Dr Soon Ting Kueh are expected to attend.
